Chamber Business Awards

Businesses from across Northern Ireland are invited to compete in the fourteenth annual Chamber Business Awards – hosted by the Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NI Chamber) and the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC).

 A full list of categories is as follows:

The closing date for entries is Friday 30 June 2017 with entrants being assessed and then declared a winner at regional level on 25 September 2017.

Prince's Trust Northern Ireland Enterprise programme

80,000 people have started a business with Prince’s Trust support…could you be next?

Who is the Enterprise Programme for?

Young people aged 18 to 30 who are unemployed or working less than 16 hours a week.

What does the Enterprise programme offer?

  • Free 4 day Enterprise Course covering Business start-up, skills training and Business planning support;
  • Test marketing grants of up to £250 (to help you test your business idea);
  • Potential start-up loan funding up to £5,000 (conditions apply);
  • Small business grants in special circumstances
  • Up to 2 years support from a volunteer business mentor

Cookstown: Wednesday 24th May 2017, Cookstown Library, 11am

Dungannon: Wednesday 31st May 2017, Dungannon Library, 11am

An Enterprise Course will occur between 6th June- 9th June at Dungannon Library

The Prince’s Trust will reimburse travel costs to and from the Information Session and Enterprise Course

Global Business Excellence Awards 

Organised by Awards Intelligence.

Aimed at companies with under 10 employees who want to grow their business by identifying new customers and markets - up to £5000 in consultancy support is now available.

InterTradeIreland is now actively looking for companies. The programme is 100% funded by InterTradeIreland and the application process is simple.

InterTradeIreland Seedcorn competition                                            

Young, innovative companies and entrepreneurs are being urged to make the next strategic business move and enter the competition to help them become investor ready.

With a total prize fund of €280,000, Seedcorn offers a huge cash boost for firms and is a must for early stage and new start companies seeking to raise equity to help their business grow and develop.
