The second Felix Triathlon Super Sprint event takes place this Saturday, 3 September at Dungannon Leisure Centre - are you brave enough to take part?
This is the twelfth year the Felix event has taken place in memory of Dungannon Leisure Centre employee Felix McCullough who passed away in 2005 from the rare incurable immune system illness Lupas at the age of 32.
Up until last year the event consisted only of a 10K run but the new triathlon format is sure to put even the most competent athlete to the test with a 400M swim, 10K bike cycle and 2.5K run.
The event starts at 8am at Dungannon Leisure Centre and pre-registration is essential as spaces are limited. All entries must be submitted by 12 noon on Friday 2nd September.
Competitors will be spilt into male / female categories and the event will be chip-timed.
The race fee is £20 with all money raised going to a local charity.
Entry forms can be obtained by emailing Leigh Gilmore or Michael Cummings at Dungannon Leisure Centre on firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com or by calling into the leisure centre.
