This year’s Walk of Hope took place on Sunday past, 27 November and was well-attended by members of the community who gave up their free time to come out and support this worthy cause.
The purpose of the walk is to raise awareness of suicide.
The event, now in its third year, is organised by the Mid Ulster clergy forum, The Beacon Centre and local groups working in mental health and suicide prevention, supported through Mid Ulster District Council’s Good Relations programme.
The walk concluded with a Service of Hope in Cookstown centre at 5pm.
