This Halloween night join us in Maghera for ghostly goings-on at the Halloween Hooley, followed by a fang-tastic fireworks display.
Maghera Leisure Centre will play host to spooky shenanigans in an afternoon of fun for little monsters followed by a fireworks display at St Patrick’s College, courtesy of Mid Ulster District Council.
There will be lots of free activities for your little ones to enjoy including a Broomstick Jiggle Halloween dance party, magic shows with Dr Funnybone, puppet shows with Scallywags puppets, spooky storytelling, Pirates indoor play, arts and crafts, face painting and balloon modelling.
The Halloween Hooley takes place on Tuesday 31 October from 4pm - 7pm in Maghera Leisure Centre, followed by fire jugglers and entertainers at St Patrick’s College playing fields from 7pm, with a fireworks display to round off the evening at 7.45pm.
Chair of Mid Ulster District Council, Councillor Kim Ashton is looking forward to an action-packed weekend of Halloween activities in Mid Ulster. “Mid Ulster has everything anyone could want this Halloween- and much more including spectacular fireworks displays in Coalisland, Cookstown, Dungannon and Maghera, sure to thrill and entertain the crowds. With lots of other frightening and fun activities taking place at each site over the weekend it promises to be a truly haunting and hair-raising Halloween!”
