Almost 50 businesses from across Mid Ulster attended the second free Digital Business seminar which explored how to stimulate online growth, through deploying a range of digital advertising techniques.
The ‘Achieving Online Growth through Advertising’ seminar was funded by Mid Ulster District Council, delivered by 42Digital and took place in Ranfurly House, Dungannon. The key focus of this seminar was to provide businesses with guidance and advice on different methods of online advertising and how these could be used to maximise customer engagement and drive sales.
Daniel McDonnell from Style Boutique NI shared his experiences of their digital journey and provided insights into their digital advertising techniques, which helped them to achieve online growth.
The seminar opened with an informal Q&A session with digital experts sharing their knowledge and expertise, enabling business to pose their questions to the panel before moving onto 2 highly interactive workshops.
These were facilitated by Niamh Taylor from Digital Twenty Four and Emma Gribbin from Digital by Emma and explored Google shopping, Search and Display Ads and Facebook Advertising.
The Chair of Mid Ulster District Council, Councillor Kim Ashton said, “I was delighted to see a strong demand for the ‘Achieving Online Growth through Advertising’ seminar. This demonstrates just how important and beneficial events like this are to our local business community. The next and final event in this series of three will take place on 22 November in Magherafelt. I would encourage any business interested to register for booking now as demand is likely to be high”.
The feedback from businesses attending the seminar was very positive including: “Fantastic and interesting event with lots of practical tips that I can implement straight away,” and “Workshop was clear and concise with great information on Facebook and AdWords”.
