Get Creative With New Spring & Summer Programme At Ranfurly

20 April 2015

The opportunities to get creative this spring and summer have grown with the launch of a new programme of courses and classes at Ranfurly House Arts and Visitor Centre.

From taking digital pictures to creating your own in a painting or drawing class, the new range of leisure and arts classes at the Mid Ulster District Council facility are suitable for adults of all ages, with a mixture of 14 classes and one-day workshops on offer.

Budding gardeners can take advantage of a short course in vegetable growing, while those with a taste for cooking will be interested in cultivating edible flowers and herbs, and cooks may like the chance to bake in a summer cupcake and cake decorating workshop.

Anyone who ever wanted to make their own clothes may enjoy the beginners guide to sewing, while using textiles to create artwork is also on the programme.

The art of public speaking, tiffany glassmaking, studio lighting and Paverpol sculpture complete the line-up for grown-ups, while kids are well-catered for too, with a Saturday Drama Club, a parent and toddler group, dance workshops, drawing and craft classes, and summer clubs too.

To find out more and to book, contact Ranfurly House Arts and Visitor Centre, Market Square, Dungannon, Tel: 028 8772 8600 or register on-line at www.dungannon.info.
