The public realm works in Cookstown are moving to their second stage on schedule.
The multi-million pound investment to enhance the look and feel of the town centre began at the end of October and work is nearing completion on the first 25m lengths of the scheme, with preparations underway for the second part which involves a move to Fairhill Road, Coagh Street, Orritor Street and Millburn Street.
Funded through the Department for Social Development (DSD) and Mid Ulster District Council, the work is being carried out by FP McCann, while maintaining access to properties and businesses.
The contractor, FP McCann, has established a site office at 47a James Street (above Boots) and the 24hr site contact number is 028 7954 9090 (option 4). Queries can also be emailed to [email protected] and details about the works can be found by clicking here.
