Dungannon turned on the style for the latest Autumn/Winter collections in the town’s first fashion event of the season.
Local style icon and TV presenter, Joanne Salley, hosted proceedings at the ‘Heels on the Hill’ fashion show, which saw top models from Style Academy showcase the latest looks from both high street favourites and local independent boutiques in Dungannon town centre and The Linen Green.
Now established as a firm favourite with locals and fashionistas, the show, organised by Mid Ulster District Council, is in its fourth year and was once again staged in Hagan’s, where guests were welcomed with a West Coast Cooler drinks reception and received a generous goodie bag, jam packed with healthy treats from Little Big Shot, Linwoods, and beauty products from Vita Liberata and Hello Gorgeous, as well as discount vouchers to spend in Dungannon.
Lucky audience members Brenda Hilley and Eva Park received the coveted ‘Golden Ticket’ prizes for the ultimate shopping experience in Dungannon and a special spot prize sponsored by Vita Liberata had been won by Lynda Young. Prizes were presented with their winnings by Chair of the Council, Councillor Linda Dillion.
The fashion fest continues this weekend with an exclusive wedding fayre held in the historic Ranfurly House on Sunday from 1pm to 4:30pm. A total of 30 exhibitors will be under one roof during the free afternoon event which aims to bring inspiration for weddings, using local retailers and specialist service suppliers.
