The Burnavon Arts Centre in Cookstown is throwing a party to celebrate Easter on Saturday, 19 March from 11am -3pm and everyone is invited!
There will be free fun-filled activities sure to suit to the whole family with entertainment inside and outside giving a real buzz to the town centre.
Easter Arts and Crafts, including Jumping Clay and cupcake decorating will give your little ones the chance to create their own Easter-themed goodies to take home with them. Come along to these drop-in workshops and take part in these fun and interactive activities.
Circus workshops will also take place during the day so if you ever fancied trying your hand at juggling or diablo then now is your chance!
Hip Hop and Martial Arts taster sessions will take place as well as storytelling sessions so whether you like to be active or simply sit and relax and enjoy a tale or two, you will be spoiled for choice!
To ensure the party atmosphere stays lively, there will be street entertainment and music for the whole family to enjoy.
For the very little ones, characters such as the Mad Hatter and Alice in Wonderland will be sure to leave them in awe and there will also be free face painting and balloon modelling.
Also, as it’s the spring growing season, there will be a series of plant and sow demonstrations, so if you have any gardening questions or need a bit of advice to help you get creative with plants and foliage then this is your chance to ask an expert.
Once you’ve experienced all that’s on offer at the Burnavon, be sure to pick up your Easter Egg Hunt clue sheet at the Box Office. Explore the town centre to come up with your answers and return your completed sheet to the Burnavon to be entered into a prize draw.
All activities are free. For more information contact the Burnavon on 028 86769949 or email: [email protected] or like the Burnavon on Facebook.
