Commercial Bin Collections
Commercial premises have to purchase bins and pay for their bin collection service, with charges levied dependent on bin sizes and type of waste collected.
We provide commercial collections for black and blue bins only.
Food waste collections
We do not provide a food waste collection and under the new Food Waste Regulations (NI) 2015 which came into effect on 1 April 2017.
Commercial premises which generate more than 5kg of food waste per week, must contact a food waste collector directly to make arrangements for food waste disposal - or risk a fine for failure to comply with the regulations.

The Council operates a pre-paid system for the disposal of commercial waste at Cookstown, Drumcoo and Magherafelt Recycling Centres.
From the 10th June 2019 the Council will no longer accept cash payments for the disposal of commercial waste.
This means that that our commercial customers must use a swipe card, credited in advance with sufficient funds, to pay their waste disposal charge.

Commercial customers may require a valid Waste Carriers Registration, issued by the Northern Ireland Environment Agency

Once you have received your card, you will be able to add credit online or contact Environmental Services on 03000 132 132, where you can make a card payment over the phone.
