Births, Deaths & Marriages
The Registrar registers births, deaths and marriages, and performs marriages and civil partnerships in the Mid Ulster District.
|There are 3 registration offices, one in each of the Council offices in the Mid Ulster District:

Please note that registration offices will be closed from 2.30pm on Friday 23 December to 9.30am on Tuesday 3 January. Anyone who needs to register a death over the holiday period should contact their local undertaker.
The registration offices are open from:
Monday to Friday (the Magherafelt office is closed on Wednesdays)
9.30am to 12.30pm and from 2.00pm to 4.30pm.
All of the registration offices operate an appointment only system.
Copies of Certificates
The local registration offices will only be able to provide certificates of births, still births, deaths, marriages and civil partnerships at the time of registering the event. To obtain copies of certificates, you can apply
