This exhibition twins 8 poems of Michael Longley’s taken from his works from 1973 - 2006, with 8 poems of Seamus Heaney’s taken from his anthology ‘Field Work, 1979’. The pieces were originally made to celebrate the 75th birthdays of both poets when the Linenhall Library, Belfast was hosting Writers’ Week in May 2014. Sadly, Seamus Heaney died though the exhibition went ahead.”

“Helen Heron is an artist resident in South Derry, Northern Ireland, working predominantly in fabric and thread. Her interest in textile arts and crafts began at a young age when she would make small decorative pieces and her own clothes, as a hobby. This past-time quickly developed into what was to become a life-long passion for all things associated with the world of hand crafts.”
