New ‘Makers Markets’ For Magherafelt
Did you know that Magherafelt is home to a wealth of creative talent? There are dozens of local artisan makers, who combine traditional and contemporary skills to create hand-crafted items, from ceramics and wood-turned objects to jewellery and textiles - and now they’re coming together to showcase their work in a series of ‘Makers Markets’.
The Bridewell in Magherafelt is to become a ‘shop window’ for the makers to show and sell their hand-produced, original and unique creations, at the heart of the place where they live and work.
The markets are scheduled to run every quarter and the next one will take place in June 2018 in The Bridewell, Magherafelt. If you are interested in taking part contact davina.mccartney@midulstercouncil.org or telephone 03000 132 132.
