Mid Ulster Engineering Innovation Programme - OPEN FOR APPLICATIONS

Mid Ulster District Council has appointed the InnoTech Centre at South West College to deliver the ‘Mid Ulster Engineering Innovation Programme’, designed to help 18 ambitious engineering businesses accelerate their growth potential through stimulating innovative activity. 

The FREE programme will deliver up to 8 days’ specialist one-to-one innovation support from the InnoTech Centre to 18 businesses to assist them to:

  • Embed innovation within their business to develop new products, processes and/or services,
  • Increase sales, competitiveness and performance,
  • Create new jobs.

Programme Status: OPEN for applications. Places on the programme are limited and will be awarded as part of a competitive process, subject to assessment. The programme will close when all places are filled.

Mid Ulster Social Enterprise Programme - OPEN FOR APPLICATIONS

Mid Ulster District Council has appointed Workspace Enterprises Ltd to deliver the new ‘Mid Ulster Social Enterprise Programme’ which aims to assist the start-up, development of new and growth of existing social enterprises. 

This FREE programme is tailored to the needs of participating groups /social enterprises and can include support in the following areas:

§  Market research

§  Business planning

§  Located in the Mid Ulster District area

§  Funding applications

§  Marketing support

§  Interested in starting up or growing a social enterprise

§  Signposting to other organisations

§  Access to workshops

§  Not receiving or eligible to receive similar assistance elsewhere

Programme Status: OPEN for applications. Places on the Programme are limited and will be awarded as part of a competitive process subject to assessment.  The Programme will close when all spaces are filled.

Applications from under-represented individuals/groups are welcomed, e.g. young people aged 18-25, females, rural dwellers and those not in education, employment or training.
