Mid Ulster District Council officially launched its new 2018 Visitor Guide packed full of attractions and outdoor activities sure to cater for all types of visitor needs.
The 130-page brochure contains all the information you’ll need to plan a trip to Mid Ulster including unique visitor attractions, diverse nature and natural heritage, and exhilarating outdoor activities.
The comprehensive guide also includes a full list of accommodation from 4 star hotels to camping and caravan sites. A special addition to the visitor guide this year, is a new fold-out district map highlighting all attractions and activities, as well as town maps.
Chair of Mid Ulster District Council, Councillor Kim Ashton commented: “I’m delighted to see the Council’s new Visitor Guide for the year ahead released and jam-packed with information on all the attractions and activities that make our area so unique and appealing to visitors.
“Tourism officers worked incredibly hard on the guide and it’s certainly paid off. They have successfully created an attractive, concise and engaging brochure which will really stand out in an increasingly competitive market.”
Copies of the brochure can be obtained from Council offices and Visitor Information Centres in Cookstown, Dungannon or Magherafelt, or online at www.midulstercouncil.org.
The brochure was launched at the Council’s Tourism Development Group meeting at the Burnavon, Cookstown last week.
