Magherafelt Recycling Centre

Magherafelt Recycling Centre has reopened following its £1.7M refurbishment. 


Opening hours - these may change on public and bank holidays : 

Winter (1 October to 31 March) 

Summer (1 April to 30 September)

Monday to Saturday 9am - 6pm

Monday, Friday and Saturday 8.30am - 5.30pm 

 

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 8.30am - 7.30pm 


Please note that the last admission to recycling centres is 10 minutes before closing time.

Please sort your recyclables before you visit. Disposal of recyclable items in the waste skips is no longer acceptable.  


Talk to our staff

If you are unsure about what can and cannot be recycled please ask.  A member of staff will provide advice on which container to use.  A wide range of materials can be recycled including:
