Positive Ageing Month 2020
Throughout October, Positive Ageing Month will celebrate the contribution that Mid Ulster’s older citizens make to their local communities. With a mix of events to enable older people to connect, both virtually through online sessions and physically where possible within COVID-19 guidelines taking place, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Mid Ulster Wheelies
Dates: From Thursday 1 October, 11am – 11.45am for six weeks

Gentle cycling for seniors using our state of the art audio visual screen to create virtual cycles through the Scottish Highlands as you enjoy gentle exercise in our socially distanced spin studio. Make new friends and rediscover the joy of getting on your bike, without any of the hassle.

PLACE-EE Transnational Cultural Heritage Archive Webinar

Crafty Café at Seamus Heaney HomePlace

Be inspired by the literary legacy of Seamus Heaney and embrace this introduction to water based painting, uncover your creativity, and enjoy developing a new skill, make friends in our socially distanced River Room. Each participant will receive their own watercolour palette, brushes and paper to take the first steps of their artistic journey.

Listen Share Change Taster Session
