Kindness Matters This Mental Health Awareness Week
The Chair of Mid Ulster District Council, Councillor Martin Kearney encourages us to be kind this Mental Health Awareness Week. He said:
“Looking after your mental health has never been more important than now. This week is Mental Health Awareness week and I would like to encourage us all to be kind to each other. At this difficult time a simple act of kindness can mean so much and make a great difference to someone’s day.
"We must also be kind to ourselves and look after our health and wellbeing. Taking time out to go for a walk, get your daily exercise, or read a book can help reduce stress and greatly improve our mental health.”
