Chair leads ‘positive’ meeting with Infrastructure Minister

On his first day as Chair of Mid Ulster District Council, Councillor Paul Mclean led a cross party meeting with Infrastructure Minister, Nichola Mallon MLA to discuss support for growing business parks here.
He said:

I was delighted, in my new role as Chair of Mid Ulster District council, to lead a very positive and productive cross party meeting with the Infrastructure Minister, Nichola Mallon MLA, and officials from the Department for the Economy to discuss a range of much needed interventions at Granville Industrial Estate, Dungannon. We look forward to working in partnership with both Departments to reach a favourable outcome on the issues raised.

"Further discussions were held with Minister Mallon on the need for funding to progress additional Active Travel Schemes in Mid Ulster and deliver on the Council’s priorities to create a Lower Bann Blueway and Clogher Valley and Ulster Canal Greenways."
