COVID-19 Service Update

The majority of our services are operating as normal, with recycling centres, parks, play areas and cemeteries still open.

Details of service impacts as a result of the latest restrictions are below.

Leisure Services

In line with latest restrictions, sports facilities including leisure centres and gyms, swimming pools, fitness and dance studios are closed.

From Thursday 1st April, the following facilities will reopen:

From Monday 12th April:

  • Golf coaching will resume 
  • Bookings for outdoor sports pitches will re-commence for organised sporting clubs
  • Club training will resume at athletics tracks - Up to 15 adults or up to 30 where all athletes are under 18 years of age.

Weddings

Wedding ceremonies will continue, with numbers limited to 25 and a risk assessment required for more than 15 attendees.

Funerals

Burials continue, with numbers in attendance limited to 25 people.

OM Dark Sky Park and Observatory

The opening of the new OM Dark Sky Park and Observatory has been postponed.

Seamus Heaney HomePlace

Seamus Heaney HomePlace is temporarily closed.

The Burnavon theatre

The Burnavon Theatre is temporarily closed.

Hill of The O'Neill and Ranfurly House

The Hill of The O'Neill and Ranfurly House is temporarily closed. Toilet facilities remain open daily from 10am - 3pm and the park remains open for walkers.

Caravan and Camping Facilities

Caravan and Camping Council managed sites at Dungannon Park, Ballyronan Marina, Round Lake and Drum Manor are temporarily closed.
