COVID-19 Service Update

The majority of our services are operating as normal following the announcement of new restrictions (effective from Friday 16 October - Friday 13 November).

Only those services listed below are impacted.



Leisure Services

Centres remain open for individual activities only i.e. individual use of the gym and individual swimming.

​During the four week period, no classes, swimming lessons or family swims will take place. Visitors will be expeced to continue to abide by health and safety protocols in place when visiting facilities

No indoor sport or organised contact sport involving mixing of households, other than at elite level, will take place.

The use of outdoor sports pitches, including 3G facilities, is temporarily suspended.


Wedding ceremonies and civil partnerships to be limited to 25 people (this restriction is effective from Monday 19 October 2020).


Burial services will be limited to 25 people.

OM Dark Sky Park and Observatory The opening of the new OM Dark Sky Park and Observatory has been postponed.
Seamus Heaney HomePlace Seamus Heaney HomePlace is temporarily closed.
The Burnavon theatre The Burnavon Theatre is temporarily closed.
Hill of The O'Neill and Ranfurly House The Hill of The O'Neill and Ranfurly House is temporarily closed. The park remains open for walkers.
Caravan and Camping Facilities Caravan and Camping Council managed sites at Dungannon Park, Ballyronan Marina, Round Lake and Drum Manor are temporarily closed.
