Leisure Centres

Gyms at Coookstown, Dungannon and Greenvale leisure centres re-opened on Wednesday 15 July.

Tobermore Golf Centre

Reopened from Tuesday 26 May.
The Centre will operate with temporary safety and fair usage regulations in place due to COVID-19 restrictions, to ensure both the health and safety of our customers and that everyone has a chance to equally enjoy the game again.

Marriages and Civil Partnerships in Northern Ireland from 10 July. 

Cultural Facilities

> Seamus Heaney HomePlace reopened its exhibition and café to visitors on Friday 10 July.
> The heritage site and exhibition at Ranfurly House and The Hill of The O’Neill will reopen on Friday 31 July.

Parks and Open Spaces

Dungannon Park, Ballyronan Marina and Roundlake, Fivemiletown, together with car praks in forest sites, managed in partnership with DAERA, re-opened on Wednesday 27 May


Open, with social distancing measures in place.

Recycling Centres

All 11 recycling centres in Mid Ulster have now re-opened. See Recycling Centres for all the details including opening hours and conditions of use.

Car Parks (off street)

The Council will re-introduce parking charges in off-street car parks from Wednesday 1 July 2020.

Re-opening 1 August 2020.

Public toilets have reopened.

The Council continues to plan for the recovery of the full range of its services.

Lots of local organisations continue to offer help and support for their local communties. 

Please follow the latest advice

We would encourage all our residents to follow the latest advice to help reduce the spread of the infection:

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water, especially after using public transport. Use a sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available

  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands

  • Avoid close contact with people who are unwell

  • Always carry tissues with you and use them to catch your cough or sneeze, then bin the tissue and wash your hands (or use a sanitiser gel)
  • Maintain your social distance.
