Formerly part of the Burgess Estate, Parkanaur Forest Park is home to a herd of white fallow deer and a wildlife pond. Waymarked nature trails including the Waterfall Trail and Deer Park run through oak and beech trees, leading into a Victorian garden containing a wishing well, a picturesque old archway and an ornamental garden.
On your journey you will discover two parasol beech trees which were discovered on the estate and moved to the front of the Manor House. Early records suggest they were planted before 1885.
Orienteering course and guided tours available on request, as well as toilets with disabled access and picnic tables.
