The Electoral Office for Northern Ireland (EONI) is responsible for voter registration and you can now register online to vote.

The deadline to register to vote in the Local Council Elections is midnight on Friday 28 April 2023.

It takes around 3 minutes and you will need your National Insurance Number. 

Voting by Post or Proxy

To vote by post or proxy (where you appoint someone to vote on your behalf) you must complete an application form specifying the reason why you cannot go in person to vote at your polling station.
