Draft Corporate Improvement Objectives 2020 - 2022

The Council is currently consulting on its draft 2020-21 to 2021-22 Corporate Performance Improvement Objectives.

The Local Government Act (NI) 2014 and Department of Communities Guidance requires us as a Council to make sure we have set out ways to continuously improve the delivery of all our services.
We want to deliver the best possible services to everyone who uses them. To do this we have developed four Improvement Objectives for 2020-21 to 2021-22.

Our proposed objectives

We would like to know what you think about the following improvement objectives that we have selected:

Objective One:
Mid Ulster District Council will seek to reduce the environmental impacts of our own activities and will contribute to the improvement of the wider environment through local action.

Objective Two:
We will ensure a more connected Mid Ulster where new technologies and ways of working, empower citizens to get the best services that matter to them.

Objective Three
To create cleaner neighbourhoods, where everyone takes responsibility for their waste and the environment.

Objective Four:
We will contribute to the ongoing regeneration of our district by delivering a capital investment programme, enhancing facilities and opportunities for local people.

You can find out more on each objective and the reasons why we have selected it as a priority by viewing our Draft Performance Improvement Objectives 2020-21 to 2021-22.

How to give us your feedback

You can give us your feedback on the objectives in a number of ways:
