For the first time in two years, Cookstown will go continental with the return of the Cookstown Continental Market to the town centre for two days, on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 May.

With over 40 stallholders from across Europe, products on offer will include: 

  • Non-alcoholic cordials

  • Macaroons

  • Sweet treats and confectionery

  • Handmade chutneys and jam

  • Pizza Napoletana

  • Handcrafted chocolates made in Naples, small chocolate cannoli, Neapolitan biscuits & bakery

  • Sweet potato fries, calamari, cod bites, Spanish grilled chicken, peri peri rice, chicken and chorizo paella, Spanish meatballs

  • Burgers

  • Toasties

  • Gelatto, sorbets, fruit smoothies and shakes

  • Barista coffee, scones

  • Chocolate fountain and confectionery

  • Tacos, chilli con carne

There will also be lots of live entertainment throughout the weekend to keep the whole family entertained, including walkabout children's characters and live music performances from:

To facilitate the expected increased visitor numbers in a safe environment, a road closure will be in place along William Street from 6.30pm on Friday 27 May through to approximately 10pm on Sunday 29 May. The road closure will be in place from the Orritor Street/Coagh Street junction to the Burn Road/James Street junction.

Changing places facilities will be available at Tesco, Cookstown. A quiet space will also be available at The Hub BT80, Burn Road, Cookstown.
