Santa's Grotto at the Bridewell, Magherafelt

Step into Santa's magical grotto at The Bridewell on Saturday 21 and 28 November; 5, 12, and 19 December 2026 for a Christmas experience like no other!

Write and post your letter to Santa in Santa's post box, take part in festive crafts and meet Santa and his elf to receive a small gift!

Neurodivergent-friendly sessions run from 10.30am–12noon on 28 November and 5, 12 and 19 December, with low lighting, soft to no music, spaced seating and extra time if needed. While there is no dedicated session on the 21 November, everyone is welcome at any session and reasonable adjustments can be made. Please advise when booking if you need additional assistance.

Please note Changing Places facilities are available on site and the Grotto is directly accessible for wheelchair users via the Church Lane Entrance.

Children must be supervised at all times.

You can arrive at any time within your time slot, but no later than 15 minutes before the end of the session. For example, if your time slot is 2pm–3pm, you can arrive between 2pm and 2.45pm.

Please note that the 12.30pm sessions on Saturdays will be 30 minutes long.
