Coalisland Summer Bash returns for 2024
The popular Coalisland Summer Bash returns to the town on Sunday 26 May 2024.
The free family event, organised by Mid Ulster District Council, will take place at the Shared Space, Lineside from 10.30am-1pm to coincide with the annual Newell 10K and 5K run.
During the event, visitors, runners, and supporters can enjoy a host of free activities including face painting, walkabout characters and performances on stage.
Welcoming the return of the popular annual event, Chair of the Council, Councillor Dominic Molloy, said:
The Coalisland Summer Bash returns for a second year to the impressive Shared Space on the Lineside for a morning of free family fun to coincide with the renowned Newell 10K and 5K run. The run already attracts a large crowd to the town, with the family entertainment only enhancing the atmosphere and excitement even further. The event has become a cherished tradition, bringing our community together in celebration and camaraderie as runners are unanimously cheered on and applauded. I look forward to attending the event and enjoying a morning of fun, family and entertainment.
The 5K run kicks off at 10.30am followed by the 10K at 11.15am.
