Greenvale and Dungannon Leisure Centre Awarded WorldHost Accreditation
Two of Mid Ulster District Council’s Leisure Centres are the latest of the Council’s facilities to be awarded a WorldHost accreditation, a globally recognised mark of excellence in customer service.
This prestigious recognition highlights the ongoing commitment to delivering exceptional visitor experiences and putting customers at the heart of everything it does.
The WorldHost programme is internationally respected for setting the gold standard in customer service training. Used to train thousands of staff across the UK, it recognises businesses that go the extra mile to provide a warm, professional, and inclusive welcome.
Chair of Mid Ulster Council, Councillor Frances Burton, said:
“Our leisure centres play a vital role in the health and wellbeing of our community with a large footfall through the doors. I am absolutely delighted to announce the achievement of this WorldHost accreditation in 2 more of our local facilities, it’s great to see their efforts recognised at a national level. This award underlines the exceptional standard of service provided every day and reflects the dedication and professionalism of the staff at both sites, who work tirelessly to ensure that everyone who use these facilities feels valued and welcomed. It’s a proud moment for both teams."
These facilities are now positioned in a select group of organisations within the district and further afield that have demonstrated a clear and sustained focus on customer care.
This latest accreditation adds to the Council’s already impressive list of WorldHost accredited facilities which includes Burnavon Arts Theatre, Ranfurly House & Hill of the O’Neill, Cookstown Leisure Centre, Mid Ulster Sports Arena and Seamus Heaney Homeplace.
Visitors to both Greenvale and Dungannon Leisure Centre can now look out for the official WorldHost certificate and plaque in these sites – a sign that they are guaranteed a world-class welcome every time they visit.
