Lumarina is back with a bang for 2025 in Ballyronan!
Lumarina is returning to Ballyronan Marina on Saturday, 16 August from 4pm to 10pm. This fantastic, free event promises an evening of fun and entertainment, all set against the stunning backdrop of the Lough, beautifully lit by dazzling onshore illuminations.
The fun filled evening will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display sure to amaze. The event will provide brilliant entertainment where guests can enjoy thrilling fire performers and a variety of children's activities—including enchanting magic shows and eye-catching illuminations along the riverside trail behind the Play Park. Enjoy the lively funfair rides and games, there’s fun for the whole family!
Fireworks will be set at 9.30pm to fire at 9.45pm.
Be sure to call into the Marina café on site or visit local eateries that are within walking distance of the facility, serving hot food, snacks and refreshments.
Chair of Mid Ulster District Council, Councillor Frances Burton, excited to attend the event said:

We look forward to seeing families and visitors come together to enjoy this wonderful return of a highly anticipated event.”
To accommodate the expected crowds, additional parking will be available at two adjacent in-field sites, with stewards and signage to direct attendants. Additional parking for blue badge holders will be provided within the Marina. A community bus will be arranged as a shuttle service, providing transportation to and from the field car parks to assist disabled patrons.
A one-way traffic system will be implemented, entering from B18 Shore Road and exiting at the Ballynagarve Road junction, effective from 3pm to 11pm on the day of the event.
