Coalisland Summer Bash Draws Big Crowds for a Day of Family Fun
Huge crowds turned up on Sunday, 25 May to enjoy the much-anticipated return of the Coalisland Summer Bash, organised by Mid Ulster District Council.
The vibrant community event, held at the Shared Space, Lineside, coincided with the popular Newell Stores 10K and 5K runs, creating a buzzing atmosphere across the town.
Families, runners and supporters enjoyed a packed afternoon of free, family-friendly entertainment including face painting, walkabout characters, mini golf, and the ever-popular bubble bike, delighting children with hundreds of bubbles every minute.
Live performances kept spirits high throughout the day, with music from Deirbhile Canavan and Michael Conlon, and Coalisland Clonoe Comhaltas, along with high-energy dance performances from JD Dance.
Chair of Mid Ulster District Council, Councillor Eugene McConnell, was in attendance and took the opportunity to meet with attendees and enjoy the day’s festivities.
The Summer Bash marks another successful community celebration, bringing people together for a memorable day of fun, music and local pride.
