Family Fayre and Pre-Loved Sale A Huge Success
Families from across Mid Ulster came together for a fantastic day of entertainment and eco-friendly shopping at Meadowbank Sports Arena this weekend.
The Family Fayre and Pre-Loved Sale Event proved to be a big hit—highlighting the value of sustainability while offering families a chance to connect, relax, and make lasting memories.
Chair of the Council, Councillor Eugene McConnell, expressed his excitement, stating,
“We were thrilled to host the Family Fayre and Pre-Loved Sale Event at Meadowbank Arena. It was heart-warming to see so many families come together to enjoy the day while supporting sustainability. The event gave local families a chance to save money by exchanging pre-loved items and helped promote the importance of reuse and recycling.”
Volunteers from NIRN - Northern Ireland Resources Network were at the Repair Café to repair many household items, toys, bikes, and garden tools, with lots of happy people going home with some of their favourite items restored.
The Free event ensured that families of all sizes could participate in a fun day without breaking the bank.
The event also supported Kinship Care Mid Ulster and was backed by the Northern Health and Social Care Trust
