Huge Crowds Returned to the Cookstown Continental Market

Sunny Cookstown was buzzing with excitement over the weekend as thousands of visitors turned out for the return of the hugely popular Cookstown Continental Market!

Organised by Mid Ulster District Council, the vibrant event took place on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 May, forming part of Market Place Europe’s Spring tour.

With over 50 traders from across Europe including Holland, France, Italy, Spain, and Germany plus talented local vendors offering a true taste of Mid Ulster, the market was a feast for all the senses.

From buttery croissants to sizzling Bratwurst sausages, the streets were filled with the mouth-watering aromas of international cuisine. And it wasn’t just about the food; live music performances brought an extra spark of joy, creating a festive atmosphere from start to finish.

With sunshine overhead, great food in hand, and music in the air, the Cookstown Continental Market proved once again why it’s one of the highlights of the year!
