Funded by the Department for Communities, Labour Market Partnerships create targeted employment action plans for council areas, allowing for collaboration at local and regional level to support people towards and into work.
The localised Job Fair will take place from 12pm until 3pm and admission is free.
A number of local employers will be taking part, from various sectors – Retail, Warehouse, Engineering, Care Sector, Production, Driving, Cleaning, Child Care Sector, Food Manufacturing, Recruitment, Industrial, Automotive, Public and Manufacturing. There’ll also be a range of support and training organisations at the event, ready to offer advice on everything from updating your CV to retraining for a new career.
Whether you're looking for your first job, thinking about a career change, or exploring ways to boost your skills, the Job Fair is a great chance to meet local employers face-to-face. Chair of Mid Ulster District Council, Councillor Eugene McConnell, said:
A localised Job Fair is more than just a recruitment event—it’s an investment in our community’s future. It connects employers with local talent, helps individuals find meaningful career paths close to home, and strengthens our local economy. By bringing opportunities directly to the people of our district, we’re not only reducing barriers to employment but also encouraging long-term growth and resilience across the region.
Careers advice will be available on the day, so attendees are encouraged to bring along an up-to-date CV if possible.
