Huge crowds attend Cookstown Halloween event!

Huge crowds turned out to attend Mid Ulster District Council’s Cookstown Halloween event and fireworks at Mid Ulster Sports Arena on Saturday evening, 25 October.

The free event took place from 5pm, ending with the spectacular fireworks display at 8pm.

There was certainly something for all the family at the event with activities including: Funfair Rides, Fire Jugglers, Soft Play Bus, Sensory Bus, Crafts & Halloween Colouring, Balloon Modelling, Face Painting, Glitter Tattoos, Slime Workshop, Glow Party and Musician, and much more.

Chair of the Council’s Environment Committee, Councillor Christine McFlynn, attended the event and counted down to the grand fireworks finale.

A fun and frightening night was had by all!
