Coalisland Summer Bash Returns for 2026
The highly anticipated Coalisland Summer Bash returns to the town on Sunday, 17 May 2026.
The free family event, organised by Mid Ulster District Council, will take place at the Shared Space, Lineside from 10.30am – 1pm to coincide with the annual Newell Stores 10k and 5k run.
During the event, visitors, runners and supporters can enjoy a host of free family friendly activities including face painting, walkabout characters, large games and the return of the very popular bubble bike with hundreds of bubbles a minute.
Performances on stage are also not to be missed as Stevie King will welcome and entertain families along with live music from Frank McKernan, The Solo Set; Coalisland Clonoe Comhaltas, and dance performances from JD Dance.

We are absolutely delighted to welcome the return of the much-loved Coalisland Summer Bash on Sunday, 17 May 2026. This fantastic free, family-friendly event is a highlight in our local calendar, bringing people of all ages together to enjoy a day of fun, entertainment, and community spirit. This year’s event again coincides with the ever-popular Newell Stores 5K and 10K run, adding an extra buzz to the town and offering something for everyone — whether you’re taking part in the race or simply coming along to soak up the atmosphere. Mid Ulster District Council is proud to support events like this that celebrate our vibrant towns and create opportunities for families and friends to connect and make lasting memories. I would encourage everyone from across the district and beyond to come along, get involved, and experience all that Coalisland has to offer. We look forward to seeing the town come alive once again for what promises to be a truly enjoyable and memorable day for all.
The 5K run kicks off at 10.45am followed by the 10k at 11.30am.
