Organised by Mid Ulster District Council and supported by the Northern Health and Social Care Trust (NHSCT) and Northern Ireland Resources Network (NIRN), this much-loved annual event encourages families to embrace sustainable living while enjoying a range of free entertainment and activities suitable for all ages.
Visitors can look forward to a variety of attractions throughout the day, including:
• Pre-Loved Sale – Browse a wide range of quality pre-loved children's clothes, toys, books, baby equipment and family items, or book a table and turn unwanted items into cash while helping others find great bargains.

• Repair Café with NIRN (Rethink, Reuse, Repair) – Visitors are encouraged to bring along household items in need of repair and take advantage of the free repair service provided by NIRN volunteers. The Repair Café aims to reduce waste, extend the life of everyday items and promote a culture of repair and reuse.
• Demonstrations and Information Stands – Learn more about reducing household costs and improving the health and well-being of the whole family through simple lifestyle choices such as reducing waste, eating healthy and getting active, through a range of demonstrations and advice sessions.
Chair of Mid Ulster District Council, Councillor Deirdre Varsani, said:
We are delighted to welcome families back to our Family Fayre and Pre-Loved Sale, which has become a popular event within our community calendar. The event offers a fantastic opportunity for families to spend quality time together, enjoy a range of free activities and discover practical ways to save money while making more sustainable choices. The addition of the Repair Café alongside our pre-loved sale highlights the importance of reusing, repairing and reducing waste wherever possible. By giving items a second life and choosing pre-loved goods, we can all play a part in creating a more sustainable future for Mid Ulster. I would encourage everyone to come along and enjoy what promises to be a great day out for the whole family.
Admission to the event is free, ensuring families of all sizes can enjoy a fantastic day out without stretching the household budget.
Tables for the Pre-Loved Sale are available for just £10 and are open to those wishing to sell pre-loved family and baby items. The event provides an excellent opportunity to declutter, earn some extra money and help promote reuse within the local community.
Whether you're searching for a bargain, looking for family entertainment, interested in learning more about sustainable living or hoping to give a treasured item a new lease of life at the Repair Café, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
