LMP Jobs & Apprenticeships Fair Comes to Dungannon

Dungannon will host the latest Mid Ulster Jobs and Apprenticeship Fair to be delivered by the Mid Ulster Labour Market Partnership (LMP) in collaboration with Mid Ulster District Council and the Department for Communities, giving local people the opportunity to meet employers, explore career opportunities and find out more about apprenticeships and routes into employment.

The free to attend event will take place on Wednesday, 23 September 2026, from 10.00am to 1.30pm at South West College - Dungannon Campus.

Labour Market Partnerships are funded by the Department for Communities and bring together local partners to develop and deliver targeted employment actions that respond to the needs of local people and employers.

The fair will bring a wide range of employers and support organisations together under one roof, providing an opportunity for jobseekers to speak directly with employers about current and future vacancies, apprenticeship opportunities, career pathways and the skills they are looking for.

The event is open to anyone interested in employment or apprenticeships, including those currently seeking work, considering a career change, returning to employment or looking to develop their skills and experience.

Chair of Mid Ulster District Council, Councillor Deirdre Varsani, said:

Bringing the Mid Ulster Jobs & Apprenticeships Fair to Dungannon for the first time provides an excellent opportunity to connect local people with the many employers and career opportunities available in Dungannon and across the wider district. For anyone looking for their next opportunity, the fair provides the chance to speak directly with employers, ask questions and gain a better understanding of what they are looking for. It is also an excellent opportunity to find out more about apprenticeships and the different routes available into employment. I would encourage anyone considering their next career move to come along, explore the opportunities on offer and make use of the advice and support available on the day.

Careers and employability advice will also be available on the day. Attendees are encouraged to bring an up-to-date CV, where possible, to make the most of the opportunity to speak directly with prospective employers. There is no requirement to book in advance.
