To report flooding, telephone 0300 2000 100.

This number is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You might be eligible for an emergency payment from the Council if heavy rainfall caused flooding in your home.

The current emergency payment scheme is operational from 22 November to 21 December.

Regional Community Resilience Groups (RCRG)

The Department for Infrastructure along with other multi-agency partners have established over 50 Regional Community Resilience Groups (RCRG) across Northern Ireland at locations which have experienced historical flooding. The Department continues to expand, both the number of groups and their engagement with these communities to better assist them during periods of flooding. The map published by DfI details the location of all the existing groups and contact details on how members of the public can join their local RCRG. Currently groups can be found in the Mid Ulster district in:

  • Aughnacloy

  • Coalisland
