The second round of the Mid Ulster Covid-19 Business Grants Scheme has now closed.
The scheme provided an opportunity for commercial businesses to apply for a discretionary grant to adapt their premises to help provide a safe environment for their customers and staff.
Grants were available to fund up to 100% of eligible costs, from a minimum of £500 up to a maximum of £3,000 per business.
Funding of £429K was awarded by the Department for Communities’ (DfC) Covid-19 Recovery Revitalisation Programme for town centres and by the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA) for smaller settlements, with a further £133K invested by Mid Ulster District Council, which once again coordinated the grant scheme.
