Reconnect With Retail

The Council has been supporting the UK wide #OpenForBusiness campaign.  To coincide with this Council is rolling out its own campaign themed Reconnect With Retail specifically designed for the early recovery stage of our Town Centres in Mid Ulster.

Local traders have been encouraged to share their re-opening-themed photographs and videos which have then been shared on our social media channels.

A key element of the Town Centre Recovery Plan is to support the recovery of town centre businesses.  A series of short videos telling the unique, authentic place story of each of the towns is being developed.

Reconnect With Confidence Window Stickers

This initiative is geared towards boosting customer confidence to return to our towns and villages in the knowledge that businesses are taking positive steps to keep their customers safe.

Examples of this could be businesses putting in place practices such as additional cleaning, hand sanitization stations, flexi plastic screens, in-store signage on social distancing etc.  Any business with evidence of this will be awarded a #ReconnectWithConfidence window sticker.
