Advance Business ProgrammesAdvance your business in Mid Ulster

'Advance' is a new suite of programmes designed to build the capacity, resilience and sustainability of Mid Ulster’s micro and small businesses (under 50 employees).

Tender Ready Programme Status

Mid Ulster District Council have commissioned Global Education (NI) Limited (GEL) to deliver the new Tender Ready Programme to build the capacity of micro and small businesses to source new work and prepare high quality tender bids.

Digital First Programme Status

This Programme will build businesses’ digital capacity, providing expertise to help them adopt new technologies and strategies to grow their online presence and sales and create new jobs.

Gearing for Growth Programme Status

This Programme seeks to drive growth and increase employment through building the capacity of Mid Ulster’s enterprises in key business areas including business planning, financial management, access to finance, effective pricing & innovation.

Transform Programme Status

Transform is designed to help businesses enhance their attractiveness to the labour market and adopt a holistic approach to implementing tailored and sustainable measures to recruit and retain staff.

Mid Ulster Social Enterprise Programme Status

This Programme will provide a range measures to Mid Ulster’s social enterprise sector through providing bespoke developmental support to emerging, new and existing enterprises.

Rural Micro Business Grant Schemes Status

Rural Business Development Grants Scheme

The Rural Business Development Grant Scheme aims to sustain and support the development of micro rural businesses across Northern Ireland by providing a small capital grant of up to £4,999 for the business. 

This Scheme is being administered across all rural areas by local Councils.

Rural Micro Business Growth Scheme

The Rural Micro Business Growth Scheme is a pilot Scheme which will provide a grant of between £5000 - £40,000 to existing micro businesses to invest in innovation and new technologies which improve efficiency and productivity, create growth in the rural economy and make a positive climate related contribution.

The Scheme will also fund new business start-ups that introduce new products or services to the market place. This Scheme will be administered directly by DAERA
NOTE: Businesses can only apply to one of these Schemes - not both.
