This fully funded Wellbeing and Employability Programme will support 20 eligible individuals on their journey back to education or employment
Participants must meet the following criteria:

Are residents in the Mid Ulster District Council area,

Are aged 18 to 24 years old

Are, due to a mental health issue, currently unemployed or long-term unemployed, not in education or training, and/or economically inactive.
The details:

Bounce Back is a new 8 week programme for young people, focused on developing skills, confidence and motivation, helping kick start your journey towards education or employment.

Bounce Back will be relaxed, enjoyable, and interactive, featuring a diverse range of creative activities designed to engage participants in an exciting and dynamic way.

Programme will be delivered by a team of people from Phoenix Education Centre, who have extensive experience in youth work, education, mentoring and developing bespoke programmes for young people.

Some of the activities will include visits to activity centres and/or outdoor spaces in Mid Ulster.

1 to 1 mentoring beyond the end of the 8 week programme to help and support young people with employability skills.

If a young person requires anyone else to attend the session to support them, this can easily be accommodated.
Location
Bounce Back will be based in Cookstown Leisure Centre, but will also include several trips and activities on various days.
Dates and Times
Bounce Back will take place on Wednesday mornings, from 10.00am to 2pm, starting on 26 November 2025 and ending on 28 January 2026 (excluding 24 & 31 December).
