Council Chair meets Magherafelt Bahá’í community

Chair of Mid Ulster District Council, Councillor Martin Kearney this week met with members of the Bahá’í community in Magherafelt.

Les Gornall, Magherafelt Baha’í community, provided the Chair with some background into the Bahá’í faith and invited him to attend its bicentenary event taking place at Seamus Heaney HomePlace at 6pm on the 28th October. Mr Gornall explained that the celebration evening is open for anyone to attend and would be a perfect opportunity for those interested in learning more about the Bahá’í faith.
