The Draft Plan Strategy sets out the Council’s vision for planning land use up to 2030 and details the objectives, spatial planning framework and planning policies which we propose to use to deliver that vision.

Department for Infrastructure - Post Submission Correspondance
Following Mid Ulster District’s submission of the Draft Plan Strategy May 2021 the Department for Infrastructure (DFI) requested further clarification and evidence to be provided by the Planning Department.
To facilitate these requests the following documents were submitted to DFI in response to their requests on 23rd December 2021 and 17th June 2022.

Section 15 Direction
On 27th August 2026 the Department for Infrastructure issued a Section 15 Direction to Mid Ulster District Council.
