It is subject to continuous revisions and updates as the Council moves through the required stages of the Local Development Plan preparation, publication, independent examination, adoption and monitoring and review.

Please note that following the S.15 Direction from DfI, directly the Council to modify the Draft Plan Strategy, the current LDP Timetable is now currently under review and will be published in due course on the Council’s website.

Preferred Options Paper
The Preferred Options Paper (POP) is a consultation paper intended to promote debate on issues of strategic significance which are likely to influence the preparation of the Local Development Plan. It identifies key issues in the plan area and formulates a series of options for dealing with them. The paper indicates the Councils preferred option for growth and development in the Mid Ulster Area.
