With gentle walking trails and memorable experiences for visitors of all ages, it is the perfect place to explore, discover and reconnect with nature.
The magical trails at Pomeroy Forest Park feature 18 nature-based sculptures, offering an interactive, giant-themed experience filled with adventure, wonder and discovery for all ages.

Renardine Nursery Trail – Purple Trail
Beginning beside the Forest Centre, this trail passes 6 Nursery Trail attractions before returning to the car park via the inclusive play park. This circular route is 1 km long.
Renardine Fairytale Trail – Red Trail
Also beginning beside the Forest Centre, this trail passes 18 fairytale attractions, including the Castle of Pomeroy, resident giants Fingal and Finn and the ever-popular Wizard Gannon’s Zipline. This circular route is 2.2 km long.
Grace Drennan Eco Trail – Yellow Trail
Beginning to the right of the Forest Centre, this trail takes you on a journey through the flora, fauna and ecology of the forest. This circular route is 2.4 km long.
The Forest Centre
Set in the beautiful surroundings of Pomeroy Forest Park, The Forest Centre is a licensed conference venue and an accredited WorldHost centre, recognised for delivering outstanding customer service.
Built on the site of the former forestry school, this welcoming and versatile community venue offers an impressive multi-use space with retractable tiered seating for 150–225 guests. It also features two multi-purpose activity rooms, a kitchen, toilets and changing facilities, changing places facility and a courtyard café with seasonal opening hours.
With professional catering available, the centre is an ideal setting for conferences, meetings, training sessions, community events, workshops, celebrations and private functions.
The landscaped grounds and safe walking routes connect the centre to the play park, car parks and forest trails, combining modern facilities with the natural beauty of Pomeroy Forest Park.
