Summer schemes, leisure camps and special offers will make a welcome return this July and August, as Mid Ulster District Council leisure and sports facilities open their doors to children and young people, encouraging them to get active this summer.

£1 Sessions will take place Monday to Friday from Wednesday 1 July 2026 to Friday 31st August 2026, for under 16’s for use of pool and gym from 6.30am to 2pm.
Summer schemes will take place from 20 July to 14 August 2026 from 10am -3pm at Cookstown, Dungannon and Greenvale Leisure Centres.
AGES 8-11 years old only.
And at Meadowbank Sports Arena and Maghera Leisure Centre from 10am - 3pm.
AGES 6-11 years old only.
Moneymore Recreation Centre's summer scheme will run for only 3 weeks (Monday 20 July - Friday 7 August 2026 from 10am- 3pm).

Summer camps including golf, gymnastics, canoeing, angling, and tennis will also be available at various locations for different age groups from 5 years old plus.

New £1 offers will also be available for under 18’s throughout July and August (Monday - Friday until 2pm only) to enjoy teen gym, swim, courts, golf, track and pitches, as well as soft play for the little ones.
*£1 Sessions will launch on 29th June 2026 and will run from Wednesday 1 July to Friday 31st August 2026, for under 18’s for use of pool and gym from 6.30am to 2pm.

A multi-activity club focusing on facilitating children and young people with Neurodivergent needs to do things at their own pace, and to enjoy movement and fun games.
