> Tender Ready Programme Status

Mid Ulster District Council have commissioned Global Education (NI) Limited (GEL) to deliver the new Tender Ready Programme to build the capacity of micro and small businesses to source new work and prepare high quality tender bids.

> Digital First Programme Status

This Programme will build businesses’ digital capacity, providing expertise to help them adopt new technologies and strategies to grow their online presence and sales and create new jobs.

> Gearing for Growth Programme Status

This Programme seeks to drive growth and increase employment through building the capacity of Mid Ulster’s enterprises in key business areas including business planning, financial management, access to finance, effective pricing & innovation.

Transform is designed to help businesses enhance their attractiveness to the labour market and adopt a holistic approach to implementing tailored and sustainable measures to recruit and retain staff.

Rural Business Development Grant Pilot Scheme Status

The Rural Business Development Grant Pilot Scheme aims to sustain and support the development of micro rural businesses across Northern Ireland by providing a small capital grant for the business. This Scheme is being administered across all rural areas by local Councils.

> Mid Ulster Social Enterprise Programme Status

Workspace Enterprises Ltd are currently delivering this Programme which aims to provides a range measures to drive the growth of Mid Ulster’s social enterprise sector through providing bespoke developmental support to emerging, new and existing enterprises. This Programme will end in Autumn 2019; a new Programme is planned for 2020.

> ‘Yes You Can’ Programme Status

‘Yes You Can’ is a new three-year regional female enterprise programme which is a collaboration between the 11 Councils, Invest NI and Women in Business. It’s designed to inspire and motivate female entrepreneurs and offers the opportunity to participate in networking events and meet others on their entrepreneurship journey.
