A new Site Supervisor Academy has been launched in Mid Ulster to support experienced construction workers to progress into supervisory roles and achieve the qualifications required for the updated CSR (Construction Skills Register) Gold Site Supervisor Card.
Applications are invited from individuals residing within the Mid Ulster District Council area who are currently working in the construction sector and are interested in progressing into site supervisory roles.
This opportunity is open to both current and aspiring supervisors, including micro-business owners and individuals seeking to advance within larger organisations. Employers are also encouraged to nominate suitable members of their team.
Places are strictly limited to 6 participants and are available free of charge.
The Academy will support 6 participants from the Mid Ulster area to:

Complete the NVQ Level3 Diploma in Occupational Work Supervision (Construction)

Undertake the CSR 4-Day Site Safety for Supervisors Course

Prepare for the CITB Health, Safety and Environment Supervisor Test

Receive support to apply for the CSR Gold Site Supervisor Card
The programme will run from April to June 2026 and will combine classroom learning with practical, work-based assessment.
