Parent/Guardian to Child Ratios
All children under 8 years of age must always be accompanied by an adult (a responsible person 16 years old or over, or the child’s parent)

The table below outlines the child: parent/responsible person ratio:

Teaching / Leisure Pool
2 Children under 4	1 adult/responsible person
3 Children aged 4-7	1 adult/responsible person

 

Main Pool
1 Children under 4	1 adult/responsible person
2 Children aged 4-7	1 adult/responsible person

One adult may supervise three children under the age of 8, proving:

• All non and weak swimmers wear a flotation device

• All children (plus the adult) use the teaching pool and leisure pool only. (NOT the main pool)
